TRS3243IPW from Texas Instruments is a Integrated Circuit 3- to 5.5-V multichannel 250kbps RS-232 line driver/receiver with +/-15-kV ESD protection - RS-232 transceivers. The TRS3243 device consists of three line drivers, and five line receivers, which is ideal for DE-9 DTE interface. A ±15-kV ESD (HBM) protection pin-to-pin (serial-port connection pins, including GND). Flexible power features save power automatically. Special outputs ROUT2B and INVALID are always enabled to allow checking for ring indicator and valid RS232 input.
