Product Description

The MZ9313 is a triple-balanced mixer engineered for applications across military, commercial, and test equipment sectors. It operates over a broad frequency range, with both local oscillator (LO) and radio frequency (RF) inputs spanning from 2 GHz to 18 GHz, and an intermediate frequency (IF) output ranging from 30 MHz to 5 GHz. The design incorporates Schottky ring quad diodes and broadband soft dielectric baluns, achieving a typical single-sideband (SSB) conversion loss of 7.5 dB. The mixer requires an LO drive level of +13 dBm and offers LO-to-RF and LO-to-IF isolation levels of approximately 30 dB. Its robust construction, utilizing high-temperature solder and welded assembly processes, ensures suitability for both manual and semi-automated assembly environments. Additionally, the MZ9313 is available in a miniature package with optional field-replaceable connectors, providing versatility for various system configurations.
